We do a trial day for all new campers, the first step is signing up on Gingr with the link at the top of this page. Once you have signed up you will get an email telling you to call us to set up your pups trial day. We schedule them Monday-Thursday (Fridays at Kingsport only). We have 3 timeslots for trials each day 8 am, 9 am, and 2 pm. We just need your pup for a minimum of 2 hours but if you want to board soon or even start them on a daycare routine we recommend you leave them with us longer. If you are wanting to board soon and book one of our morning trial days we recommend you bring a bit of food or a treat we can give them over naptime to get them comfortable eating here. We only require one additional day of daycare after the trial but if your goal is to board soon the more time with us the better. Our biggest priority is your dog’s comfort and safety. We like to see them pulling you into the door and their final burst of energy when they see you when you pick them up before they fall asleep on the ride home

When you pick up your dog we can show you them on our monitors, they are just for safety and can’t be viewed outside of the facility. If you pick up your dog before 4 we can even give you a tour before you go.

• New campers must be spayed or neutered if they are over 8 months of age.
• New campers must have at least their second round of puppy shots completed and be at least 5lbs.
• New campers must be social dogs. Aggressive dogs or dogs that do not play well with others are not good candidates for Camp Ruff-N-More.
• All standard vaccinations are required. This includes the Rabies vaccine, the Distemper/Corona Virus/Parvo vaccine, and the Bordatella (Kennel Cough) vaccine. Proof of vaccination is required before staying at Camp Ruff-N-More. Flea and tick preventative and heartworm preventative are also required.
• Unfortunately, due to insurance reasons, we are not allowed to accept Pit Bulls or Pit Mixes. We are sorry.
